Enidine’s Wire Rope Isolators are perfect for air compressors and systems that use compressed air. A heavy-duty compressor is used to create a high amount of pressure (800 psi) repeatedly for long periods of time. As this machine runs, it creates a great deal of vibration.
A customer originally was using coil springs to isolate the vibration, but over an extended period of time, the welds on the frame would break. They changed from coil springs to the WR20 series wire rope isolators because they are a far more effective solution.
Another customer with a mixed gas dispense system also switched to Enidine’s compact rope isolators. Inside the system, there is an air compressor that is responsible for maintaining the correct pressures to the beer lines. When the air compressor turns on, it vibrates causing noise, sending unwanted vibrations to the other components inside the box.
When the compressor is running, it can be very noisy. The customer tried rubber isolation mounts under the compressor to reduce the noise but found Enidine’s compact rope isolators were more effective. The compact rope isolators provide a long-term solution that reduces the noise much better than a rubber isolation mount will.
