SCHUNK’s iTendo

Wire Rope Isolators for Compressors

Enidine’s Wire Rope Isolators are perfect for air compressors. A heavy-duty compressor like this (pictured above) is used to create a high amount of pressure (800 psi) repeatedly for long periods of time.  As this machine runs, it creates a great deal of vibration.

The customer originally was using coil springs to isolate the vibration, but over an extended period of time, the welds on the frame would break.

They changed from coil springs to the WR20 series wire rope isolators because they are a far more effective solution.
