Enidine’s HERM (High Energy Rope Mounts)
Enidine developed the HERM (High Energy Rope Mount) Isolator for NAVY cabinet isolation and rafted deck systems. They have successfully passed barge testing and reduced shock inputs to levels compatible with COTS equipment.
The HERM mount is an effective vibration isolation systems solution for cabinets, platforms, rafts, cradles, canisters, and shipping containers requiring a shock, vibration, and structure-borne noise isolator.
In addition to electronic cabinets, the HERM can successfully be used on other vibration isolation systems offering protection for radar systems, weapons, and vehicles. Any application needing vibration isolation systems offering protection over a wide deck frequency range could benefit from this highly engineered product.
Enidine’s Air Springs
Enidine’s Air Springs are highly durable, precisely engineered, and cost-effective for use in a wide variety of actuation and vibration isolation applications. With time-tested designs incorporating fabric-reinforced Wingprene™ or natural rubber flex-member construction and corrosion-protected end retainers, Enidine Air Springs provide superior quality and performance. As actuators, they can provide either linear or angular motion. These airbag products offer a favorable stroke-to-compressed-height ratio when compared to air cylinders, and they can accept a wide variety of actuation media such as air, water, nitrogen, or anti-freeze.
Enidine’s ADA Rate Controls
Enidine Rate Controls are used to regulate the speed or time required for a mechanism to move from one position to another. They use proven technology to enhance performance in a variety of product applications. ADA Series products are typically used to control pneumatic cylinders, linear slides, lids, and other moving mechanisms. The advantages of using our rate controls include:
Enidine’s Wire Rope Isolators for Power Units
Enidine’s Wire Rope Isolators minimize the amount of vibration your machines experience is critical to their long-term performance. Vibration fatigue can cause premature equipment failure and expensive machine downtime. But finding a way to reliably and cost-effectively counteract it has always been a challenge.
A Swiss manufacturer of mobile power units needed to actively isolate the internal electronic components of its newest generator. Units were designed
Wire Rope Isolators for Compressors
Enidine’s Wire Rope Isolators are perfect for air compressors. A heavy-duty compressor like this (pictured above) is used to create a high amount of pressure (800 psi) repeatedly for long periods of time. As this machine runs, it creates a great deal of vibration.
The customer originally was using coil springs to isolate the vibration, but over an extended period of time, the welds on the frame would break.
They changed from coil springs to the WR20 series wire rope isolators because they are a far more effective solution.
Enidine’s Compact Rope Isolators
Use Enidine Compact Wire Rope Isolators for the best performance in vibration isolation and small vibration mount configurations. The compact design is smaller than most wire ropes and can provide both shock and vibration absorption even in situations where package space and sway are an issue.
Enidine Compact Wire Rope Isolator is made of all-metal, which gives the best multi-axis shock and vibration isolation in a small package. Even reliable in hostile environments, the miniature vibration isolators have almost no maintenance and are highly resistant to oil, ozone, abrasives, and chemicals. Using CWRI products can reduce the amount of premature equipment failure and costly machine downtime.
HD/HDN Series Shock Absorbers
Enidine’s HD/HDN Series of heavy-duty shock absorbers protect equipment from large impacts in applications such as automated storage and retrieval systems as well as overhead bridge and trolley cranes. They are available in a wide variety of stroke lengths and damping characteristics to increase equipment life and meet stringent deceleration requirements. Utilizing a special compact design, these shock absorbers smoothly and safely decelerate large energy capacity loads up to 8 million in-lbs. per cycle. These models incorporate an internal, air charged bladder accumulator, replacing mechanical return springs, providing a shorter overall length and reduced weight. The zinc-plated external components provide enhanced corrosion protection, while epoxy painting and special rod materials are available for use in highly corrosive environments. All of Enidine’s heavy duty hydraulic shock absorbers are engineered to meet OSHA, AISE, CMMA and other safety specifications such as DIN and FEM.
Enidine PXR Series
Enidine’s NEW PXR Series small bore non-adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers can accommodate a large array of energy input conditions. This new expanded line of tamperproof industrial shock absorbers provides consistent performance, cycle after cycle. The new PXR models are designed to absorb maximum energy within a compact envelope size while providing you with stable performance over the life of the product.
Enidine Mid-Bore Shock Absorbers
Enidine mid-bore non-adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers can accommodate varying energy conditions. This family of tamperproof industrial shock absorbers provides consistent performance, cycle after cycle. Mid-bore non-adjustable models are designed to absorb maximum energy providing you with protection from harmful impacts to your sensitive equipment. The PM Series shock absorber uses a self-compensating design to provide energy absorption in low velocity and high drive force applications. The Platinum PM Series also includes the added benefit of corrosion-resistant, nickel-plated components and positive stop capabilities.
